hi ppl, this is a desperate cry for help with my year 2001 c240. I just purchased the car 2nd hand and i popped the hood 2 top up the water tank 2 clean the windscreen, but i cant find it at all??? everything else is there, the cap for the engine oil, battery fluid, brake fluid etc, but no cap for the windscreen washer tank. Please someone tell me how 2 find this, i realise i might come across as a idiotic retard but i honestly searched for a good 30 mins!! if possible post a link with a picture of where the windscreen water tank might be in the engine! thanks a lot ppl, would really appreciate it!

Na, those tanks are generally hidden real well on newer cars these days. I remember it being on the right side of our SLK (dunno if it's the same for all Merc's) if your looking from the front of the car. It probably has a black top and a skinny spicket leading down which is why it's hard to see. If you still can't find it I'm sure The Artist can help you out...

Looking at the front of the car, it is just right of the grill behind the headlamp.
Should be a little blue cap and a white plastic tube going down into below the headlamp into the tank..
