I have never been a huge fan of the W203 C-class Sport Coupe. I just don't like the overall shape of the car.

It obviously was not a high selling model, as it was discontinued from the North American market prematurely.

Now they are going to bring it back, with a major facelift while keeping the old W203 C-coupe chassis. This tells me that MB doesn't really want to put too much effort/resources into this.......which makes me ask the question: why bother at all?

The C-Class Sportcoupe will base on the old plattform! It will only get a new design.

If I remember this correctly, this happened because at one stage the project was put on ice. It was later revived, and the only way to bring it to market on time was to go down this path. But I can't believe it isn't a complete reskin at the least.

Let's hope its MUCH better than the current car.

It's a mule, highly doubtful they just change the front lights.

What I really want to know, is why on earth Mercedes did bother making the Sportcoupé when they already had the CLK as a rival for the 3-Series Coupé?

If their intention was to make a C-Class Hatchback to compete against the likes of the Audi A3 and VW Golf, why didn't they create a 5-door version of it?

lol this seems like a very easy way out..there has to be more to this car than a new front and old rear
