Sounds possible, I can't believe VW would trash the Bugatti brand name so much, image if you had just spend 1 million euros on a car, and someone rolls up next to you in a car with the same brand name and similar looks, but costing far less!

Like vabboud said, the price gap between this roadster and the Veyron would be rediculous. I thought VW was in the process of developing their own roadster with similar specs. If this turns out to be true, it's just one more example of VW group's failure to realize brand hierarchy and in house competition. Anyone else emember the Phaeton? What a wild success that was.

There is a great point with the price gap. An F430 competitor would be the cheapest I'd allow them to go.
