Spotted: Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir

About a month ago Bugatti introduced another version (Dutch article) of the Veyron. According to us this is the most impressive Veyron of all. This car is an homage to the wonderful Bugatti Atlantique 57s, which was built in the 1930’s. We are talking about the Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir. One of AG’s spotters spotted this car in the States.

We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw this car coming in. Just a month ago this car was introduced and already one of “our spotters” managed to make some pictures of this brutal car. We hoped something like this would happen but never expected this.

This supercar was spotted in Santa Monica on the Santa Monica boulevard. A spotter from Belgium happened to be at the first of May at the right time at the right place. This extremely exclusive car happened to get a special parking place at the restaurant were this spotter happened to be at that time. Bugatti went to this location to show the car to some wealthy people who might want to buy this car. We are lucky enough to show you some exclusive footage of this wonderful car. One thing is for sure, at least one Sang Noir will get an owner in the United states. The question remains were we could find the other 4 cars. Let’s hope the new owner will start using this car and not store this car in a shed. The buyer should bring a lot of cash, the price of this Sang Noir will probably be something between 1.7 and 2 million dollar, without taxes of course.

Bugatti to produce 15 'Sang Noir' Veyrons, U.S. buyers get first crack

If you're thinking about dropping $1.5 million on a set of wheels, would a special edition really tip the scales one way or another? Well, Bugatti evidently thinks so. After having produced the Pur Sang and the Fbg par Hermès editions, the ultra-premium auto marque revealed the Sang Noir last month.

Now, after disgruntled U.S. buyers lost out on the opportunity to buy the Pur Sang when it sold out to an invited group of European customers in Paris, Bugatti has announced that its American clientele will get first crack at the limited run of 15 Sang Noir Veyrons before they're offered elsewhere in the world. And who said holding American citizenship isn't worth what it used to be?
