£14,000 for Ceramic brakes??? They've got to be kidding me. That's just 2 times over what Porsche and Audi charge. Even more expensive than Ferrari's ceramic brakes.

They definitely thought, that people who can buy this car don't care about the price of extra stuff and equipement. But I don't understand, why these brakes are not standard! They could offer the car 10.000 pounds more expensive with those brakes as standard and no one would say sth. about the high price of the special option!

Re: EVO - Bentley Brooklands

things like ceramic brakes should be standard on all premium brands IMO,it's very unconvincing to see makers like Ferrari,Lambo,Porsche and Bentely doesn't offers those as standard equipment.Same thing with xenon lights should be standard on premium german sedans also.

Re: EVO - Bentley Brooklands

How useful are those ceramic brakes with the Brooklands? I'm wondering because the Brooklands isn't exactly a track car...

The car weigh 2.6 tons, so good brakes can come in handy. In the end I'm surprised by the price of these brakes. I just didn't see Bentley as an option list gauger like Porsche and Ferrari.

And they are probably the same ones the Audi RS6 uses.
