Hello,
I ordered a '08 meteor gray / black int. full leather Boxster S with 19" Carrera S wheels.

question is... i'm thinking about matching color wheels. Anyone out there have a picture of this color combo??? or know a website I might see one
(other than the porsche website)

any opinions on this

Congrats on the order. rims matching the body paint only looks good if the car is black. Neither can I assist you with any pictures because I've never encountered pictures of a meteor gray Porsche with matching rims.

Meteor Gray is not a color which is very different from the standard rim color. I don't really expect a big impact in the looks for your car if you go for wheel painted in the exterior color.

You could opt for black wheels for a dramatic effect. Porsche has some history with color coded wheels, but this is usually on RS or CS models.

I personally would not do it on a Boxster, but that's just my opinion.

I know this is kinda pointing out the obvious but you can see your car in 3D with exterior colour painted alloys on the porsche website but this is obviously a CGI but it would give you a rough idea. Here are two pics of the CGI of porsche's website:

As the other post mentioned I too think that there would not be much of an impact with Meteor Gray wheels.. (might look like their 'dirty' all the time :~)
Probably "black" would be the best look, but as a couple of you mentioned ...it is best put on a black car....might look kind of funky on gray. Perhaps like one is 'trying' too hard..
