If I know Porsche well enough by now, there will be a 2 bhp increase for the Boxster and a 7.5 bhp increase for the Boxster S model haha

I don't think the current Porsche Boxster even needs a facelift. It's still a stunning and super hot car. Everytime I see one, I think to myself "DAMN THAT'S SEXY".

I guess it's just me though...

No, me too. Porsche really knows how to design timeless cars.

i find the current boxter a bit boring, espically at the front. everything is so geometric, and not very exciting. The new face-lift model looks kind of interesting with the Audi S3 like lower bumper design

Apart from the minor cosmetic changes I guess the 987 MK II will come with DFI engines.

Spy Shots: 2008 Porsche Boxster facelift

More images of the 2008 Porsche Boxster have turned up, this time with the car undergoing performance testing at Germany’s Nurburgring track. Like the facelifted 911, which is due to hit the market by the end of the year, Porsche’s new Boxster is only expected to get a few minor changes to its exterior.
New additions to the ’08 model include a revised front bumper with LED daytime running lights and more circular air intakes. The headlights too, which feature some camouflaging tape, are also likely to come in for a change, as will the rear bumper. The final change is the new taillights, which also gets the LED treatment. Click ahead to see more images of the new Boxster from our friends at - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
No word on any power upgrades for the new model, but expect a minor jump in power and possibly some revisions to the transmission lineup. Next in line for an update is the hard-top Cayman, which will most likely receive the same styling enhancements as the new Boxster.

If it's from Porsche, it should be some "smart" work ...!
