The new Z4 is a great car. Sure, it's heavier, more refined and less nimble than the old car but it's also faster, more luxurious, better looking and more versatile too.

...oh and did I mention that it looks fantastic?

Only problem with Z4 sDrive35i is that down here in SA its pricing is on a par with that of a Boxster S. Tough call but I'd have to opt with the more visceral Boxster in this case.

A part of me though, hints that I'd be happier with owning the Z4 over the longer term somehow. Talk about internal conflict.

I drove the new Z4 and although its not sportier feel than previous Z4 to drive. I really enjoyed the car, engine sound and steering feel was awesome.
But Christ, the new Z4 is really expensive, even with the smallest engine.
Here in Sweden you can buy Z4 Coupé 3.0si with low miles and with a better price. If I was buying a Z4 today then I would go with Z4 Coupé instead, still my favorite Roadster despite its age.

Erm, the Z4 Coupé is a Coupé and not a Roadster. That would be the Z4 Roadster.

But yeah in all seriousness. The Z4 M Coupé is one of my absolute favourites. I'm dying to have one. Timing, timing...
