 If you guys remember when the 335i came out and the initial engine specs came out as well-everyone was a bit dissapointed in the numbers. Initially we were thinking the N54 was going to produce around 330 hp... BMW purposely underrated it so not to continue the power struggle with lexus and mercedes. The m3 is no different. In fact i would guess that BMW has made this engine with equivalent horse power to audi's awesome rs4 to say that "hey, we can make a better car with a smaller engine and less power for roughly ten grand cheaper (hopefully), you just watch VAG." And personally i hope the hp war ends, because honestly it was leading to no where fast. Improve the cars handling, power delivery, and gear box and forget about numbers. P.S. It sounds bitchen.
