 |  Confirmed: Prof. Ulrich Brunhke Resigns as BMW M Chief Rumours circulating from the company suggests that the Managing Director of BMW M GmbH, Prof. Ulrich Brunhke, has resigned from the company. Gerhard Richter, Director of Development for BMW M GmbH, will be appointed as his successor. The reson for Brunhke's surprise departure is believed to be the appointment of Dr Klaus Draeger as BMW's new R&D boss.
