Z29 is "news" today due to BMW decision to show the prototype to AMS journalists and give them the exclusive statements about the car. But it was AutoBild who initially reported about Z29 (calling it Z5) back in mid 2002 - they got it right it was a BMW Technik GmbH product carrying lightweight framework (they thought it was all alu), but they were wrong about the engine, and about this being a future production car (Coupe version of Z4). | |
