Not sure if Tycoon is happy or not... Hehehehe.. kidding.. ..!!That's a great testiment to BMW engine development. Ofcourse, it's no real suprise, but that should mean we just downplay their successes. Excellent stuff from BMW and ///M. ** Hey Tycoon, so how does it feel driving around an award winning engine..??!! Must be great knowing ur driving the best BMW engine behind the M5 & M3 engines. to BMW.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Edmunds: BMW 5-Liter V10 Wins International Engine of the Year next year the 3-4liter category will be 90% the new turbo, or if these guys are not turbo savvy the 272bhp HPI version,, but wait a minute where does that leave the M3 V8? it will have to battel the 3.0 turbo/not or the V10 depending on its exact displacement, maybe the V10 will be performance, the V8 will be abovd liter, and the turbo 3-4? anyone placing bets? ![]() |

![]() | Re: Edmunds: BMW 5-Liter V10 Wins International Engine of the Year I like that the VAG 2.0T won in its class (it's a truly great engine from what I hear), and the 2.5 liter Subaru engine as well. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Edmunds: BMW 5-Liter V10 Wins International Engine of the Year Yay! lol. BMW has done it again. Im still surprised that the light weight 6.3 litre engine didnt win any awards. Very Very interesting to me. It will be interesting to see how BMW does next year with the 3.0 litre direct injected by-turbo and the new 4.0 litre V8 also with direct injection (hopefully)..... Oh yea a couple more questions. Where is the RS4 V8??? And what about Porsche's 3.6 litre turbo and 3.8 litre that produces 400 hp in the GT3??
