![]() ![]() ![]() | Be A Designer: Help us redraw the BMW 135i Coupe We're continuing our Be A Designer project with a new episode. For those of you that are not familiar with the project, let me give you a quick recap: We hired a rendering artist and based on your ideas and input, we will redraw some of the existing BMW models. We started with the BMW 3 Series sedan, then BMW 7 Series and now moved onto the BMW 135i Coupe. So, you can either leave some comments here or you can head over to the project page and give us your input. All the ideas will be compiled and the designer will start working on this. Thanks Be A Designer: We will draw the BMW 135i Coupe just the way you want to |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ok so i start, everything that needs to be changed in the 1er is in the front, in fact you have to change 3 main things 1/Headlights, the two circles should be bigger and more spaced to use the whole headlights inner surface, while the blank-turning signal area should be stripped down. 2/Make the whole front cut much more upright and clean 3/The grill should be incorporated to the hood.

![]() | Definitely keep the bath thub design. Add larger grille with shark nose effect, maybe sqare-ish Angel Eyes without the plastic cover in front of the headlights, like the old school Bimmers..

![]() | It could use a more elegant roofline. Rear seats are kind of a joe anyway, so may as well make the rear window slope a bit more, like a 3 series. Loose the bubble top. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | the real problem of this car(IMO) is that the quad headlights show 2 full circles so on the 1series you always have this "cat on speed" look just compare it with the X6(for example) you see that the second unit is cut off at the top ![]() solution= ![]() another solution would be to simply use the cs1 concept headlights - the perfect headlights ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Those headlights are perfect, never understood why they didn't use them, maybe that was for once considered 2 series ?
