![]() ![]() | Maybe ///M does not exist in a few years time with the route they choose now. ///M has a lot of motosport followers. Read the ///M-power forum people complaining massively. The name zuffenhausen if you do a search there is the almost the most commen word there and not ///M |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Electric cars are great, they will increase the number of nuclear plants all over the world and instead of having CO2, we will have huge amounts of radioactive waste... ![]() But hey, they only'll be poisoning the planet and peoaple and animals and all for the next 10.000.000 years, no real problem huh! Let's put them into the ground/ocean and forget about it, that is clean and responsible.I love how everybody is thinking that the energy of all those electric cars seems to come from itself. While it will skyrocket the electricity needs with those huge batteries being recharged... The same treehuggers that say nuclear power is the devil are advertising electric cars as the way to a clean future... ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ What about sustainable super efficient houses with own electricity generators (wind, solar) - also producing power for plug-in hybrids? Also in the mean time EV will be combined with small ICE engines - as generators for powering the batteries. Later ICE can be replaced by solar panels and / or wind generators (which is also possible - since there is constant air current during driving). Etc. There are numerous natural powers to use as energy sources (also for producing electricity). Tech is available - and will become cheaper with mass production. The bottle neck is the battery tech (size, weight, capacity vs. costs, limited (exotic) raw materials. |

Maybe we should just take a look in the stables, there might just be some horses left there...

BTW, those modern bulbs you talk about are made with polluting materials and produce "electric fog" (like other powerful electric components), the effect of which are still unknown... Yet another rubbish, commercial way to sell supposedly green products that in fact are noticeably inferior and don't have that much of an impact IRL. Those bulbs don't come near their advertised light power and lifetime. Few really took the measure of what it means to become an environmentalist. Our govs, our medias don't change the model, just the motor of the cars. Useless without a complete switch of focus. Lithium is only the current way for batteries, our scientists will surely come up with other solutions.

cause the problem is more the fuel itself lets say you have solved the problem of transportation you have created a fool prove filling system and the hydrogen itself is produced by highly efficient plants, which produce no waste and gain their energy from sustainable resources. then in the end you still have a fuel which is only about half(even less) as efficient as petrol. so this means 200km(or less) instead of 400km - this is why i only see it for niches such as sport cars.
