Bangle, no Bangle?

Ive heard a lot of bitching about Bangle designs. Ive heard alot of "i like the E39 better" and "the new 7 is ugly". This thread is going to decipher how many of you actually like pre-Bangle designs more than the modern era designs (Bangalized). So here are some pictures showing the new and last generation cars of BMW. Which do you find more appealing. Please be honest.

Re: Bangle, no Bangle?

I love both, though I am fearful that some cars will not age nearly as well as the ir predecessors(E60 & E63/64). W/ facelifts and new model intro's the designs will only get better I feel.

Re: Bangle, no Bangle?

Bangle for sure.

BMW designs slogan should be 'He who laughs last, laughs the loudest.'

I think this current generation of cars is the first and last we'll see of the radicalized BMW design. In the future I'd look for subtle variations on the same theme(flame design). The current generation is more like an all out assualt on the automotive market and a testing phase to see just how these designs really work out in the real world over time.

Re: Bangle, no Bangle?

I agree. ^BMW's design has gone from Coors light to (oh I dont know) a good versatile beer. BMW's designs before Bangle have been nice and pretty just not very interesting.
