| Re: BMW super-sports car to get twin-turbo V10 As I said many times before: M-exclusive super-coupe based on new Z8 roadster CC. Yes. Mid-engined exotic - NO! Timing: most probably as a celebration of BMW Champinship victory in F1.  So, sometimes after 2010.Yes, I can confirm some facts: things like all-magnesium components, CF-body frame, alu-mag chassis & suspension, super-foam fillings, ceramic components etc are in the testing or even pre-production phases. Note Technik's Z29 Concept. Infenion ECU, ceramic-brakes, all-mag components, alu-mag parts are already a reality. Also: BMW are indeed working on high-rev bi-turbo engine. And it wont be super-coupe exclusive. |
