***Wimmer's BMW WORLD Visit (Part 2)***

Very interesting was the in-depth explanation of the current BMW engines. A selection of engines were showcased below. 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder gasoline / diesel engines, V8, M5 V10 and V12 engines.

6-cylinder diesel

4-cylinder diesel

4-cylinder gasoline

6-cylinder gasoline

V8

V12

M5/M6 V10

On the top floor we have the BMW Delivery and BMW Motorcycles section. In the BMW Customer Delivery visitors can pick up their ordered BMW. I saw several US-spec BMW's being picked up by their new American owners which indicated participation in a type of European Delivery program. The 3-Series sedan, coupe and 5-Series sedan seemed the most popular cars in the delivery area.

Lastly I photographed the most recent BMW motorcycles which were on display on the top floor across from the delivery section. They had some really insane stuff up there including some bikes that could reach 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds! Some of the info plaques are blurry because I was too lazy to adjust the ISO and exposure settings (interior lighting conditions were constantly changing...).

Another BMW motorcycle on the top floor of the BMW Clothing & Accessories Shop.

Snack bar, anyone?

The new BMW Museum isn't finished yet, but when it is I do plan on going. Hopefully they'll have more cars to display since my last visit (I guess I love snapping pictures!).

Hope you liked the pictures.
