They basically want that the marketing guy to manage the finances more from marketing aspect as well, and that the finance guy to manage the marketing also more from the finance point of view.

They swapped the generals of the hostile armies (finance vs marketing department: marketing guys demanding more money, finance guys not willing to give it).

Clever move!

Cool. Kind of like the Z9 concept and the 6er. Very important car which BMW needs to battle with MB in the high league.

Traditionally a large GT was labeled as 8er. Z8 was a 2-seater roadster.

Nothing officially how the new 4dr GT will be called. But very recently the 8-series designation (incl 845, 850, 860 labels etc) registration was renewed. I guess that's quite an evident sign how the car will be badged.

Same case with PAS: BMW registered F-seres with designations F2, F2, F4, F5, F6 , F7 F8 & F9. Still any doubts what badge the PAS cars will wear?

Yes, I know but even I'm a bit confused by all these rumors about new models and their names Z8, Z9, Z10, 8er, M8, M10 and so on...
