It was a difficult choice, the contenders being the 7er and the 3er coupé.

I chose the 7er in the end. It's the big daddy BMW and inside and out, it's just supremely designed and well-thought out. It's the car that grabbed all the attention from the W220 in its heyday. And even many years on, it still manages to catch my eye everytime one passes by. Pity then its popularity makes it a victim of its uniqueness, to some degree. But still it's something we haven't seen before, and certainly something that we hope will continue towards the next 7er. I love that turbo lump in the 335i but I can't over the plainess of the interior.

For me it's the E90. IMO the 3 series sedan has the best proportions in the BMW line-up. Also the 3er sedan has sporty design, typical BMW, but also looks very elegant and classy. Interior is also very clean!

A black one for me, with beige leather and wood trim inside. Engine? Probably the 3.5l turbo, and of course, manual transmission..

New X5. Such a thoroughly impressive vehicle all round. The interior, dynamics, steering and brakes shame the M-class.

I'm right there with you Zorro. The E65, maligned as it was, will go down in the books as the 1st next-generation car of the new millennium. It's sad that the design, thanks to the slings and arrows, got "dumbed down." I still prefer the pre-facelift E65. It's was a visonary composition, just like the Z4, and managed to single-handedly hoist BMW out of their "conservative yuppie" persona.

3-Series Coupe / Convertible

It looks very classy and the driving dynamics are typical BMW and it seems to be a comfortable car too. I'd probably go for a 335d!

E92 followed by the E60 FL.
I really apreciate the new 5 series with the L.E.Ds and the new head lamps.. + they both have that awesome N54 under the bonnet.
