Ok that's true, but there are plenty more clips of cars in the autobahn doing the same things.

I hate those people, who are filming themselves by doing these speeds. I have no problems with people, who are driving faster then 250km/h, but I don't like, how they present their stuff on the internet!
Driving faster then 200 km/h has a lot to do with responsibility - and people, who filming there high-speed trips, I think, don't want to go fast from "A" to "B"... ...they filming their trips, because they think it's "cool"...but driving fast isn't cool - it's extremely dangerous and filming at that speeds is just reckless!

Naruto - You have a misunderstanding of German traffic laws. You have the right of way in the number 1 lane when you are passing slower traffic in the number 2 lane. You don't have a right of way if you are going faster than merging traffic. It doesn't work that way.

Now of course, Autobahn etiquette is to allow fast-moving vehicles to pass before doing a passing manuever, but when the car in question is going 300kph you can't make proper judgement.

In any case - These guys could have still been cited for driving recklessly, despite the fact that it was an unrestricted stretch of the Autobahn. You simply don't drive like this on a two-lane stretch of Autobahn. People pass slow moving vehicles all the time, so what happend with the 206 was just an eventuality of what happens when you do that kind of speed in two lanes.

There's the misconception out there that you can speed on the Autobahn without consequence. You're welcome to speed, but if you speed in a manner that's a danger to you and others you could pay fines or even lose your licence.

People need to stop filming this stuff. It'll just serve to make life harder on the rest of us speeders.

Is it true that if you drive on a German autobahn over 130 kph, your legal position gets worse. For example it gets harder to get insurance back, etc..?? Somebody can clear up this, please?

There's no truth to that. You're free to choose your speed once you've entered a non-restricted zone.

I know what you're saying osna about doing 300kph and I'm not condoning that kind of speed in a heavy traffic area.

All I'm saying is that the 206 guy was impatient and lacked skill to judge speed, so he just jumped to the other lane.

Impatient and lacked skill, my ass, sorry Naruto, I dont know about you but when I pass people I dont sit there and stare into the mirrors for 10 seconds before I make the pass, just a quick glance and back to concentrating on the road ahead. The dude in the RS6 shouldnt have been goin +300km/h at all, you glance in the mirror and he'll look like he's more than a mile away and then a split second later you pass and hes right behind you.
