The Old Audi Logo




Audi has given its long-running logo a minor update following its centennial celebration. The logo now has a very chic, modern take on an ageless design. The four interlocking rings symbol has been associated with Audi since the formation of the original Auto Union in 1932, and became even more so when the brand was revived in 1965.

I like the new rings, I don't like the new lettertype for 'Audi'. That old D was so specia, so Audi. Now they're trying to be Adidas or something.

I actually like the new typeface. The old one started to look dated. On the other hand I prefer the old rings with the brushed aluminum -look.
