Lexus LS 430 is the finest piece of junk in the world if someone knows even a bit about cars, so obviously he is clueless about his own job.

Well you can't blame him for driving a LS430 prior to coming to Ford. Maybe he'll switch over to a Jaguar now.

Volvo and Jaguar have a long history behind them and deserve respect.
If i was the Ford CEO i would be proud to have those two brands (and of course Aston Martin) under the same roof and i would choose one of their models to drive myself. The new S80 for example is definitely much better than any Toyota/Lexus.

You say that we don't give narrow minded comments when your own comment is narrow minded. Volvo at least has some history and tradition in building luxury cars and has helped with the evolution of the automobile (airbags, crumble zones ect.) while Lexus is a creation of marketing and has only invented boring design and fake wood.

It's very hard to see a Lexus where i live , i know they are very rare in Germany so you understand what i mean.
Lexus is leaving me cold , there is nothing for me to like about them. They are not sporty , not well designed (or at least they have to passion in their design at all) , not prestigeous at all (most people don't even know that Lexus even exists , this is Europe we are talking about) so a Volvo (any Volvo) is a more perferable car for me than a Lexus.
See Volvo sales in Europe compared to Lexus ones and you will know how many people agree with me.

of course volvo is better than Lexus. Dont mess with swedish power
