My parents are strict when it comes to time (Germans ). So 12 O'Clock means 12 O'Clock sharp.

I still think Audi made a mistake by not at least also offering the S8 as a long wheelbase model. Many buyers, particularly in the US market, enjoy "large and fast" sedans as evidenced by the Mercedes S63/65, BMW 750/760, Bentley Flying Spur, etc., all available in lwb.

This car is definitely my favourite German luxury sedan. I like the 7er and the S65....but the S8 is very very cool.

Nevada Jack made a comment about the grille. I do have some sympathy with his opinion ....sometimes I like it and other times I think it looks odd.

I couldn't agree with you more MBZFAN, my dream luxury saloon is a S8L! I want the sportiness of the standard S8 with the interior size and comfort of the A8L W12.

Wimmer cam is on it again!!! Such a graceful + understated design, that can't be said for most car designs of the 21st century thus far.
