The only thing there that definitely looks ugly is the gearbox stick... Just look at that! In fact, it's not ugly, but funny!

Not all of them, for sure. Look at i.e. BMW's... They are simply stunning!

But I sort of agree on the steering wheels. Mercedes in particular lately.

Audi interiors are on average the best in the business, but for some reason the design of the A8 interior doesn't really appeal to me anymore. Though it still exudes superb quality all over, I think the S-class has moved the interior game along slightly for this class.

Actually I like the screen there, and I like how the air conditioning vents are beside it, and not below it (like Q7). That way, I can get air aimed at my face from both left and right of the steering wheel. I also like how you can hide it - it might seem that less appealing for a thief to break in to your car if it doesn't seem so upmarket (which could suggest you might have expensive stuff in the car to steal). Of course, if you're driving an A8 then it's not an issue - the whole damn car is so expensive anyway - but if you're driving something like a Passat, it can be beneficial. I like to keep a low profile.

Only thing I don't like is how it's fixed towards the rear. I would prefer a driver-oriented one, but still retractable.

Anyhow, I like the sound of the exclusive interiors. Then again, I thought they had plenty of choice already. I suppose it's for the connoisseurs, then.

The Q7 interior is pretty damn hot, but even tyhe A3 has a nice looking interior, and the S4 too....
