I voted "Awesome". Simply because it looks fantastic and the attention to the details, is simply exquisite. Audis are indeed beautifully made cars! But... I was expecting more power. Yes, V10 450 Bhp is not bad at all. Thing is though, there is the new Mercedes S65 AMG with V12 Twin-Turbo 612 Bhp. The new BMW M5 outputs 507 Bhp from a similar sized V10 engine and Mercedes is coming with a 6.3 V8 with 515 Bhp. When Audi announced a new S8 with the same Lamborghini Gallardo V10 engine, I got all excited expecting a true power/torque monster...I wouldn't call the new S8 underpowered...is just that I was expecting at least a power output of 520 Bhp not just 450 And why the top speed has to be limited again to 155 Mph?! Oh for crying out loud...when the German manufacturers will drop this preposterous "gentlemen agreement"?! I Love German cars, but this "electronic limiter" is just pathetic. |

4. Its too hard to NOT like this car, I can't really find any fault in it, only that other cars excel more in other areas. |

This is definitely a 4. this car is so beautiful in and out. I wouldn't take this over the s63amg but I'll take this over the 7er anyday. Well honestly, I'll take the regular A8 over the 7 too. |

What is going to be sweet is that the V-10 Gallardo Motor will have the easiest capability to add 50HP by some simply mods. Now that will be fun to watch vs. the BMW M5. That M5 is quick though. But I love the new S8 it looks awesome. Love this forum. |
