I agree, even though the S8 does has 4 wheel drive, I won't even dare to drive this hard especially in that kind of weather condition combined with small roads.
Must be a hell of a driver with alot of guts.

A couple of things I noted while watching the vid.
-This, as well as all the other high performance Audi's is a true 24/7 sports sedan, as the roads aren't always dry for sticky burnouts, such as you might do in an M5.

-The level of quality in these cars is amazing, even thought and detail have been given to the hinges that allow the trunk to open, as well as the fine aluminum trim bordering the seat adjustments. Amazing, and an absolute blessing to the eyes of any true car nut.

The hinges that allow the trunk to open? You mean the hydrolics? Those are common in higher end cars. But I do the love the sound of the V10, it sounds awesome.

Not really, won't find those on an 07' S or a new 7. They are the same hydrolic hinges found on the Phaeton, and as I remember their design and function was inspired by bicycles?

I might be wrong, not sure that the A8's hinges look exactly like the Phaetons, but close...
