Indeed it is not a "clever" comment, it's fact.

While the S8 is a fine looking car it will indeed look old next to the likes of an M5.

The better thing on the M5 against the S8 is performance, for the rest its a 5 series... The A8 is big, wide, heavy, its a beast by looks! And "THATS" what we call gangsta And I dont think it looks old....

Comparing it with a M5, why? Compare it with S-class and 7er.

S8 is a fast luxury saloon while M5 is fast sport saloon car. M5 is a sportier car, better handling, faster, more driver involvement. M5 is for the active driver while S8 is a comfortable cruiser with luxury. Design is so personal so why bother comparing S8 with a M5.

I choose a M5 but if I want a fasy luxury car I take the S8. Oh hell, I take both

Come on man how can you even say something like that. The S8 doesn't look old at all. It looks very modern and futuristic.

No one of those cars look gangsta.. you need to have a sleek sleeper type of design imo.. The audi has that.. no doubt.. but the grill throws it off completley.. its to wierd..
And the whole M5 is wierd..
The true gangsta would be a black A8 W12.. or a Black S600 L

'Gangsta' has too many meanings now - whether that means it's cool, wicked looking, or suitable for actual gangsters - and even then you'd have to decide whether that's Japanese yakuza, Italian mafia, or American homeboy, er, gangstas.

Who wouldn't need one? You know you want it! My back hurts from sitting at the computer so much in a likely bad posture, and driving in a 2000 Honda Civic. It's got no lumbar support, let alone an adjustable one. I'd love a moving lumbar support. Hmm, maybe I'm getting old.

Anyhow, I prefer the looks of a normal A8 over the S8, mostly, but I think it's a fine car. The guy could be confused because on paper it sounds like a bit of a contradiction of what advantages the A8 had, but on driving it, it just works well and won him over.

I also wanted to like the S-class, and it's coming along pretty well. But the A8 is still probably the choice of the heart, over the S-class's choice of the head.

Plus, what's the point with the M5 comparisons? It's a completely different type of car!
