![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The D3 will probably always bee the pioneer in design IMO. Now'a'days all cars apperance is about beeing sporty... LOL A8 ain't sport, LOLx2 not even the [s]8 are sporty.. They are luxury sedans and the front overhang on the D3 A8 makes it look luxurious and rather safe... I wish this segment was more like old Bentleys (Arnage) and modernary Bentley's and such... they look good ... always! as for the new A8 it will probably look quite good but the valid point is missing IMO, Sport and Aerodynamic insted of luxury and feel. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Some people are too eager to say that the D4 won't be nice... I would say that you need to be more patient and wait to see the car in the flesh...although i 'm sure that no matter how good it might look some people will turn it down due to bias...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I didn't say that. Read my post again... Several comments doesn't feel justified to me before even seeing the actual car... On the other hand maybe A8 doesn't really have to be very beautiful as 7 series and S class and not really the best designed cars in the world either. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Based on the AVAILABLE pics D4 proportions / overhangs doesn't look as good as the ones on D3. That's was my observation. And I still stick to it. Nothing to do with BMW or MB. Its all about Audi vs Audi. Previous vs new model. D3 vs D4. ![]() |

![]() | Spot on Eni. The same goes for the A4 (B7 vs B8). I'm hoping and praying that the A8 does not look like a carbon copy of the A4 and A5. |

![]() | A8 D3 has always been, and will always be, an extremely sporty design. I don't know what you're talking about. Just compare the D3 to the E65 or W220/W221

![]() ![]() | I don't know if this was posted already, but I think it wasn't. ![]() It looks quite OK on this picture. Much better than the ones seen before (with similar shape). Headlights could be shaped a bit more aggressive though. The stance looks very sporty, the shoulder line is high which adds to aggressiveness of the whole car. Source |
