And why exactly not? Audi has a FWD 3.2 A8L now which they are very proud of because of its very low fuel consumption. I have no doubts Audi will continue FWD A8s for the D4.

Yup, the current A8 is already available as FWD with the smaller engines (i.e. 2.8 FSI).

I really expenting this car. F01 has been a big step forwards, so i hope Audi do the same with D4. EnI has said a few times i will be a very agressive car.

We will see it like 5 weeks before the car is in the showrooms, like always. Sadly.
I don't know how Audi tests new cars, but I never see prototype spypics like BMW and MB test their cars....

^ I wouldn't say proof. A lot of things can change in a generation. The people that made the current A8 probably all have a different job now.
