Ohhhh ...not good.
This is sad really ...because this is one car I really really like ...but after reading Clarkson's review I feel Audi have failed to meet their potential with this car.

Clarkson makes a significant mistake, S6 is a luxury cruiser made to be fast but also easy to use on everyday basis. The RS6 will cover the hardcore , driver oriented supersedan segment.
Judging a car based on what we expect it to be is totally wrong.

Well, I have to agree with him on this:
Fine. But it produces only 429bhp. That’s just a gnat’s more than you get from the V8 in an RS4, and it’s nearly a hundred less than you get in a Lamborghini Gallardo. Why? Audi owns Lamborghini so it’s not as if the Italians have “lost” a hundred horses as some kind of latter-day payback for losing the war. And it’s not like the Audi boffins were wary of what happened the last time a mass-production car was given a monster engine . . .
I saw the S6 Avant several times and it's really a sleeper. I begin to also think that they should name it A6 5.2 instead. Cause it's not THAT super, to be called an S. 435hp from a V10 has been and IS disapointing.
Waiting for the RS6.

Seems like even the ride sucks badly to be a luxury crusiser. There was one other comparison than mentioned the ride was worse than both M5 and E63.
