Those RS6 are taking to long. M5 and E63 are alone on the market too long before we finally see a 530hk RS6.
Audi, hurry up!

Yeah it's disappointing, but Audi has a thing about only producing RS models every so often for exclusivity reasons. I can see the merit in that idea, but it is also bad when say an RS6 comes out at the very end of the run of a chassis (like so many cool versions of cars do) when the platform and technology is more dated and could have been more cutting edge earlier in the life of the car. That being said, I'll repeat that there are merits in this strategy as more time allows the manufacturer to work out any bugs in a new model before crowning the top tier peformance variant. There's also marketing as these higher performance and better looking versions will come out near the end of the production run in order to revitilize interest and sales for the vehicle.

Ok I might have some inside RS6 information. Today I heard about a guy who recently visited Audi and he got the info that RS6 will get turbo and just below 600hp. Sales start December 2007 and the preview will be in Frankfurt.

Well it is not like someone here expects that it will push more then 600hp but turbo in an RS car. W.T.F

Bi-turbo, we'll wait and see if the info is correct, Its one year left before we see one.

I really can't see the need for Audi to use Turbo becasue their V10 engine can easily squeeze out 550hp.

BTW there was a S6 V10 here today. the car sounds good

MNost audi RS cars have been bi-turbo. I prefer bi-turbo, easier to tune.

I don't see Quattro Gmbh putting a Bi-turbo engine in any of the new RS cars from here on out unless it's a diesel, they're following the high revving concept for N/A engines now. Who knows though, I could be wrong?
