Some of the info stated in the article seem to be BS. I see no reason why Audi would discontinue the RS6, that model is popular and respected and there is no way that Audi would throw it in the garbage. As for the price we can speculate how much we want but we can't know for shure how much power it will have and I'm sure that it won't be having 600hp+. As for now we only know that is will be pushing a V10 engine but how much power that engine is going to produce is unsure. It might produce 520hp, 550, 570, or even 535hp, we don't really know. There for I would adwise you to take the article with a big can of salt.

As soon as I read that statement about the Audi brass contemplating whether or not to go ahead with the RS6 I started laughing.

I mean, seriously, do you think Audi would just not produce the RS6 ?
Imagine what repercussions that would have on the Audi brand and especially RS's reputation if they can't produce a car that can be price-competitive.
I dont know why it would cost so much anyway. It's not like they're building it from the ground up, ..it's already in the Gallardo, ..already in the S8.. all they need is more power. (Yes, i know easier said than done, ..but seriously, it can't cost thaaaat much.)

I know ///M found it expensive developing their V10 engine, ..and the RS4 is damn expensive...but the RS6 has to be produced...... it just has to, otherwise, that's going to reflect VERY badly on Audi.

I can't even believe that GCF is throwing out info like this. I'll believe this gibberish the day I get proof that backs this article up.

Well, the picture that we've seen of the A6 testing with kit on them, can we be sure that they're the RS6, or just the S6.

..beacuse of it is the RS6, then I doubt Audi would pull the plug on it halfway through testing it.

Just a thought, ..but yeh, I'm not believing this till it's official from Audi.

Listen it might just be the S6, i mean even that hasnt been released.... there has to be more to this..... Audi, do you hear me callin' ?!?!?!
