I agree. Although the Avant is a powerful car it hasn't trigged the same enthusiasm and joy as the RS4. I hope the sedan will be more spicey and exciting in terms of handling.

That's not the grill it will get.
As you can see, there are no leds in the headlights, and all.

The new RS6 Sedan will come with the facelifted A6.

The RS6 Avant all but matches (or betters) the M5 and E63 sedans with the factory numbers. The total handling/speed package of the RS6 sedan should better them by a wide margin!

Btw I love the look of the car. The design is very pure and clean cut without the added tact-on pieces. So far I think it looks better than the M5 as a total package. It simply manages to look more sporty/ less family

Hopefully we'll get the sedan here in the U.S. The wagon I can understand. BMW doesn't import the M5 Touring here and Mercedes only sells a few hundred E63 Wagons here, but the sedan we'd better get. Price be damned.

i fear that the sedan won't be that much different from the avant. may be a lil bit lighter (132lb.?) like one earlier report said. but that's it.

Well being a station wagon makes any car a little heavier, so the RS6 sedan will definetly be lighter.

That's what I'm afraid too but I still hope the Sedan RS6 will be different.
