AutoBild has an impression of the facelifted Audi A6 which is said to arrive sometime next year. The front remains almost unchanged while the rear lights will be similar to the ones found in A5.

That's good Yannis. I have always felt the rear styling was the weakest part of the A6's design.

A5 tail lights on the face lifted A6? Sorry but I don't buy that.

They are unlikely to be identical to the ones on the A5 -- but I expect the shape of the A5s lights is where Audi is going across the range.

The A6's rear has always been one of my favourite details of the car. The nondescript rectangular lights and the chrome strip with the Audi badge prominently placed above it. It's near perfect - sad to see it go for the A5-like lights.

I totally agree with you, James. IMO A6 is the most beautiful car in its class. I just love the looks of it. It's truly a sad thing if they've decided to change the rear lights.

agreed. I think the rear end of the current A6 is sooo damn sexy. Really I love that the most of the car, it makes it look coupish and oh so sleek

So are you guys saying you like the A6's rear better than the A5's?




Personally, I think the A5's rear is much more distinctive.
