Audi is to launch an A4-based coupé in 2007. The range-topping RS5, Audi's answer to the M3, will get Audi's 4.2-litre 420bhp V8 and quattro rear biased 4WD The car will be of based on a new flexible platform that will be also used in next A4 and A6. According to Autocar it will be presented next Automn in Paris auto show and sales will start early 2007. |

Wow that looks hot...this would probably be my favorite midsized coupe, even more than the G35.... That RS5 is going to be sweet if it gets the same treatment as the RS4...hope it makes it to the US. |

Yea...hopefully they'll start working on the RS5 as soon as the A5 comes out. The approach they took for the RS4 was so great, focusing on overall driving dynamic over just tuning an engine. There is always aftermarket, but having an inhouse tuned car would be ideal imo. |
