Their's nothing wrong with that if your not into sexy interiors, lets be honest, visual appealing interiors isn't their strong suit. I have love for all three of the key German brands, but BMW needs to address their interior styling imho. |
Well, everyone has their own preferences on what attributes they value more in a car/segment and the fact is more people prefer what the 3 series has to offer in its segment compared to C Class or A4, the same way more people prefer what the S class has to offer over 7er or A8. You can spin it any way you want it, but sales numbers don't lie. But unfortunately every fan boy has an excuse to explain why their favorite brand is not selling as well and it usually goes something like this:
BMW fans - But it handles better.
Merc fans - it is more comfortable.
Audi fans - it has better interior or my favorite: "97.58% - or some bs % that they pull out of the asses - don't need the extra performance/handling".
And as for reputation/heritage, that is also an attribute you buy into when you buy a car - just like the interior or performance - and what is more, it is even more difficult to build than the shiny new interior or the more powerful engine.
My 2 cents
