The S5 is more of a 335i competitor tather than an M3 competitor. Within a couple of years M3's arch nemisis aka the RS5 will be launched. Audi want to steal sales from the 335i, which is why they have launched the S5 very, very early. I have a feeling the M3 coupe won't be be in the spot light too long either, the launch of the RS5 will most likely be push forward.

I gotta ask, where do people get the credentials to declare victory against a car that hasn't even been released yet?

I would venture a guess that the S5 will be priced much higher than the 335i, which is of course expected from Audi. What do you think?

Of course it will, how else are they gonna get their money back from all those high end materials!

You're right Matt. The S5 will be mre expensive and that's because it packs more power than the 335i.

And the fact that the regular S4 is more expensive than the 335i.

definately not, we don't even have engine specs for the A5 and probably won't until March 6th or a few days before.

S5 should defiently have more power than 350hp for reasons already stated. 370HP minimum.
