That black S5 is stunning. Audi is giving again design lessons.

I second that. I saw one for the first time last week. What a stunning car, so eye catching with a lot of presence. It sure gives the 335i a big fight in design. Looks amazing in real life, especially the front.

You lucky bastard, I went by my local Audi dealer in New Jersey and the salesman told me they won't be getting the S5 in until mid-September. I can't wait, I put off getting a S8 because of the S5!

September is a few months away but that's what you get for living on the other side of the atlantic. But I was surprised when I was it. I had not seen an A5 at all and was a bit sceptical about it's looks but boy was I wrong. You'll love it, it's a spot light car.

Something tells me it's well worth the wait! The dealer was trying to talk me into putting down a deposit, but I didn't feel comfortable doing so. I have a feeling I might regret it!

It's really worth the wait if you want a well designed coupe. I would only lay down a deposit if I could get it back in case of a disappointment after a test drive. You simply never know, there is always a chance that you might find something just as attractive, like a black C350 Sport. My tip is to hold on to your dough.

The new C-Class Sport is hot, but not S5 hot imo! If I don't get the S5 I don't know what to get.

Richboy, if you have enough money to get a S8, whey don't you hold off and wait for the RS5?

Even though the S5 looks fantastic, it may be lacking in the performance department when compared to the C63 and M3. If history were to repeat itself, the S5 will be priced similar to the C63 and M3 in North America (just like the S4 was priced just below the C55 and E46 M3).

Now of course, if you don't care as much about the performance side of things ignore what I just said. Don't get me wrong, the S5 is plenty fast and capable on the roads.......I'm just comparing it to similarly priced cars from MB and BMW.

I don't need a totally hard-core sports car like a RS5, the S5's 354hp is more then enough for me. Besides god only know's when the RS5's gonna hit the market, an add atleast another four months past that before it hits the states!

According to my latest info , the RS5 will be presented next year. Much earlier than anyone expected.
