Drove B7 S4 today.. - 10-10-2005, 12:37 AM

was checking it out to compare to the C55 and also to see if it's something I might be interested in. Quattro is great, if a little bit of a burden in the sense that it weighs the car down, but I think the engines placement at the nose of the car has more to do w/ this. Driving at low speeds the steering felt nicely weighted and there was a suprising amount of feedback(especially compared to the B6). I got the chance to push the car REALLY hard, and was not suprised by the amount of *understeer I encountered, but it doesn't bother me much as it is a very easy car to control. In the end though the C55 IMPO is the smarter choice, and that is a personal preference. The steering offers a lot more feedback at all speeds, and to boot the car is substantially quicker, and that's w/ a slushbox. Great car none the less, but Audi will have to do a LOT more to earn me as a customer, namely better weight distrubution.

Nah, I hear that car pushes wide too. I'm waiting for the W204 C63.... I hope, or W204 55.
