  | New Audi A4: Mysterious interior shots appear    Here are a few photographs of an intriguing new Audi interior. First thought to be the interior of the forthcoming A8, it is now believed to be a new version of the A4 interior. The most noticeable change to the standard A4 interior is the revised instrument panel featuring a large display between the tachometer and speedometer. While the Audi that the interior belongs to will remain a mystery for now, expect to see the new display and gauges coming to an Audi in the future. killwithfire.blogspot

| That's not an A8 interior, that's the A4 A5 interior upgrade.

| In the AutoBild spy A8 interior pics the same display between the gauges can be seen. I guess it's a part of MMi v2.0 which will debut in A8, and later spread accross the line (except eg. to low-end models like A1, A3 etc). So, this interior is either from A4 / A5 - most obviously from an LCI prototype. I guess A5 will be facelifted first. Not sure the system will be available in all models, standard, or optional. It's a trend now carmakers are locating a secondary display in the full or partially digitalized gauge console (eg. MB), or on the windscreen via HUD (eg. BMW). |
