Abt really went all out on this one. They managed to not only add larger wheels (which are probably heavier and hurt performace) but removed the speed limiter too. Maybe next time they will add an exhaust. I'm not sure though, it may be asking too much.

Am I the only one who is painfully unimpressed with this?

Assuming you're not that big an Audi fan, this probably wouldn't be sugar for you anyway. Otherwise you'd pass on a subtle compliment and a crit or two perhaps?

Very much in limbo Matt. Don't get too far ahead of yourself, and don't let your ego get the best of you. I was merely validating what you said at the same time pointing out, "why state the obvious?" The only argument you formed was the M5 having the ability to go faster than the RS4 when we already know that, taking the time to point out the specs between the two cars when the M5 obviously has the greater advantage. Trivial argument. You're a smart kid Matt, but not everyone is as impressed w/ you as you are w/ yourself. W/ all due respect.

I'm entitled to my own opinion, and I happen to like Audi. I'm just tired of aftermarket companies who just add bigger wheels, some flashy/tacky interior trim, maybe an ugly body kit, and call it a day. RUF, now there is a true aftermarket tuning company. They do a classy job. Case in point, the new RT12 with 650hp, 2wd or 4wd, new suspension, larger brakes, a functional body kit (how many aftermarket tuners can say that!) and much more. This is what aftermarket tuning is all about. Now I realize this car is insanely expensive but aftermarket tuning should be about more than bigger rims and other non performance enhancing additions. That's just me my feeling on the matter.

Didn't say you weren't. Some people would even opt to argue w/ a sign post if there was no human in the equation.

If I were looking for a tuner to completely revamp an RS4 internally I'd look to Sportec. They've been mum for sometime, but w/ the excitement over new product at Auid, perhaps they will launch a new project car or two. For the most part though, other than Oettinger and on some occasions ABT,and Nothelle do you ever see a drastic cosmetic update to an Audi. I guess most abide by the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

why would i try to impress any body but myself????

But your still missing my point. The M5 of course is faster (no need to point that out). My point is that its also alot quicker once you get up to serious speeds. And it doesnt have an advantage at that because its such a heavy car.

Accerlation= Force/Mass: so the more mass you have the more foce you need to accelerate at the same rate with less mass.
