Who exactly are you to infer that one of our moderators (AlxAmg is a pillar of this community and the reason for many of us being here) doesn't know what they are talking about? Where do you get off?

Here's some advice: you're thinking of leaving and going to another forum? You're most welcome, that is your right to freedom of choice. But make no mistake, step out of line once more and I will ban you for the rest of this week until such time as the moderator group can reach a consencus as to how long should remain banned for.

This forum is not anti-Audi - that's your unfounded opinion. However, your karma rating shows that your actions here are less than admirable so people aren't exactly warming to your demeanour.

You've totally stuffed up this thread because you don't like some of the justifiable criticism levelled at the RS4 Cabrio and instead of debating the virtues of the concept you go and starting trashing a) this forum and b) its members.

Just wanted to say that this is the 1st time i see Martin really pissed off but with a very good reason (but still polite and kind ...)

Audiholic, although you did overreact, i still don't want you to be banned. Take our advice and clam down.

This is really insane.... Talk about craziness.

You don't have to ban me. I'll leave with honor myself.

A lot of informed members here feel that this car is not worthy of the RS moniker. Go to the Avant thread and see that the very same people are worshipping the RS4 Avant. I'm one of them.

The fact that you can't tolerate any, even rational criticism of the Audi brand shows your immense personalisation of the whole thing. No one's BSing no one's bashing. This RS version just doesn't cut the mustard in many people's eyes. And that's their opinion.

If you want some Audi lovin' go and visit the RS4 Avant thread and feel the love for something a little more deserving of the venerable RS badge. Like I said earlier this is my opinion.
Even Audi guys like me share the opinion that the RS4 cab is wrong. One can't say the same about the avant because that's how they all started (RS2) and it still looks good.

Yes exactly Carbon, I see the necessity for the RS4 from a competition point of view and from that perspective am prepared to accept Audi's strategy behind it. This is one of two very polarised opinions which have emerged as a general trend:

Either you love the RS4 Cabrio (as many members have indicated) or you find the car questionable in certain aspects. Certainly in my book, the highly strung furious nature of the FSI V8 is seemingly at odds with the boulevard cruiser image of the current cabrio. This is purely an opinion. Some people agree and others don't.

On the other hand I really do appreciate the Audi-ness of the Avant range and would have an S4 Avant at the drop of a hat, let alone the awesome RS4. So where's the negative Audi sentiment?

You should say M3 CSL convertible really, because that is what Audi wants to be with it's RS line.

M3 cabrio is fine, M3 CSL cabrio is dead wrong

I disagree. RS is more in line w/ AMG and M. The CSL badge is exclusive to BMW M coupes(meaning any M car w/ two doors and a fixed roof). Audi has yet to come up w/ an alternative to M's "CSL" concept. In time we should see something(TT special- whatever it was called, can't remember the name) was something along these lines.
