I'm sure the real car will be very similar to Huckfeldt's impression in AutoBild (the one that Just_me posted).

Huckfeldt is a medium for German manufacturers to subtly push the new designs to public.

A4 (B6) was presented in Frankfurt's Auto Show in 2000.

Facelifted A4 (B7) was presented in Paris show 2004:

So the car is actually more than 6 years old right now with only a minor facelift (in mechanical parts that is cause in the design the facelift was rather drastic).

As with most Audi's... the concept just looks stunning, but come production time, the car loses that Audi flare and becomes rather clinical.

Considering that the last 3 Audi concepts have made it into production almost entirely unchanged, I dispute the 'clinical' assumption.

Also, the new A4 may have the black plastic license strip deleted, just like the Roadjet. As you may already know, the new Allroad will be the first production Audi that will have the plastic license plate strip deleted from the front grill. Special brackets will suspend the license plate within the grill without any surrounding plastic.

By 2008, most Audi's will have the grill uninterrupted by any horizontal plastic.

I was right!!! I was right!!! Roadjet = B8 A4 but toned down. Huckfeldts impression will be spot on, for sure.

WOW! They seriously need to do that! Gives Audi is very vocal character w/ that grill. Amazing, especially considering the fact that the last cars we saw those kinds of grills on were those of the 40's and 30's and before then. It's amazing how designers can reinterpret old themes in new ways. Kudos to Audi! Not sure that I'd take the B8 over the E90, anything is possible though.

That is not very accurate since the new A4 will be similar to Roadjet and quite possibly the front will be identical.

Also the rear lights will be slightly changed from the current moto cause they have been copied by Honda in the Civic. Expect something like these ones:
