Now there are only two petrol engines (1.8 TFSI & 3.2 FSI) and three diesels (2.0 TDI, 2.7 TDI & 3.0 TDI). Is there any reliable information about engines that will be added in the near future?  |

Μany engines will be added in the future. The 2.0 TFSI , the 2.8 V6 FSI ect. |

Yannis, is there a 2.8 V6 FSI coming? Yet another strange engine overlap in the A4 range; remember how the 1.8T overlapped with the old 2.4 V6 engine in terms of performance but was substantially cheaper? I reckon the uprated 2.0 TFSI engine is good for 165 kW and up to 320 Nm, a 2.8 V6 FSI will put out in the range of 180 kW at best and 290 Nm. I can almost guarantee that the 2.0T will be the more sprightly performer just as was the case with the 1.8T vs the 2.4 V6. |
