^That B8 A4 looks really good, even though it's a mule for some other project. Hopefully they'll tune the S4 to be a bit more sporting than the current car.

Somehow i'm not convinced this is the new Rs4 test mule,doesn't have that aggresive styling that you'd see on a car such as the RS and has the twin tail pipes to i'm guessing S4 or 3.2 v6 rather!!

Aggressive styling on the RS4, M3 and RS4 is merely cosmetic. It isn't necessary when conducting early tests trying out a new suspension, exhaust system, gearbox or engine.

The wheel arches are similar to the ones on the RS4. On the other there's no point reading too much into it since it might end up with the wheel arches as the RS6.

The rear end proportions look very weird. It seems to be too low and the lights to big when compared to rest of the car. Other than that, love the wheel archs. It should be an RS unless Audi is changing the S for something for dramatic.

Since the QTV will be offered as an option in the B8 A4(that is for sure, Audi press news), I am sure it will end up standard in the RS4.

All this torque to the ground, the might as well increase the torque split to 50-50.

It seems that the A5 is not the only one o get a S-version, A4 will also get one. Proof? Autoblog.nl caught the upcoming S4 testing.

The S4 will be powered by a 4.2 liter FSI V8 engine, but for sure the output will be bigger than the A4’s 340 hp. The engine will be matted with either a six-speed manual or - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. I'm inclined to think that's the S4 with quad exhaust... kinda iffy rear end though

I think 450-460 is a reasonable figure for the RS4
