Yes. Although i haven't heard specifically about the RS4 using QTV , it will be used in all new models starting from the A5 Sportback.

I heard that the first model using the QVT will be the new RS5. But for the other models, will be used the current quattro with Torsen C. But will be possible order the QVT like an extra (2000 $) on the top versions of the A4,A5,A6,A8.

We can say that the QVT is less suited for an off-road use (but the current quattro is) but more fit for a sporty use on-road(and here the current quattro/Torsen has some little problems)
I think that QVT will be very similar to the traction sistem of Lamborghini. (or to R8)
