read about this in the motor trend release. can anyone at the show confirm this information?

this is BIG news. if it is accurate this would make sense of the entire audi line-up's future engine plans.

in the US, a base A4 with such an engine would mean a perfect slot for a TT 3.2 V6with 300-320 hp. in turn, i take it audi would put a larger NA V8 into the S4 (maybe 400 hp) and apply TT's to it to make an RS4 (480-500 hp).

further, the aforementioned larger V8 could power the new base A8, etc....

i'd love to hear some opinions.

I cannot confirm the 250 hp in the 2.0 TFSI (haven't heard of this before) but i can confirm that Audi is working on 3.2 TFSI (around 300-320 hp) and 4.2 TFSI (around 450-480 hp) for RS4.

Any clue whether or not that 450-480hp engine will also be fitted in the RS5?
