The new A4 photographs well and gives a premium impression in the pictures. It looks a whole lot sleeker and more executive than the B7.

Bless you monster, I was about to lose my mind. Right, so this clarifies it then. All engines are longitudinally mounted and yet they still manage to achieve such a short front overhang. Tremendous feat Audi.

So, over time 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder A4's will be offered with Audi's latest version of quattro where the front differential is located ahead of the clutch.

a. I wonder what implications this has for S-Tronic (nee DSG)
b. I'm surprised that they went this complex route - let's call it "going to all the trouble" for FWD models.

P.S. I'm always interested in engine bay pics.

Audi A4 has longitudinally mounted engines for the last few generations so this one could had been no exception.

Oh yeah. DSG, I forgot all about it. It will be disappointed if it isn't offered for the engine weaker or equally as powerful as the 2.0T engine sitting in the GTI and TT.

Should compare based on proportions - remember A4 is longer.

Guys, here are some S-line differences of the car from IAA

1) Front bumper lip is much longer and in alu color
2) Fog light are in different design
3) Some kind of hole in the black part of rear bumper
3) Exhaust is chromed
