Wow i just realized that the RS4 is faster than the M5 around the TG track.. so my question is what are the times for these 2 on the ring??

Wow....WOW...I just saw the video and the RS4 has earned my respect now, the car is really more than a A4 with more powder. The car is really fast and has superb handling, it will be really interesting to see if the four door E90 M3 will beat this. It seem that RS4 is the best high performance 4-door saloon one can buy today. The RS6 will be a true killer for sure.
BTW I find it very funny how some of you bimmer fans keep on talking about CSL cars when ever a bimmer gets beaten. CSL cars are totally stripped and are track cars and should therefore not be compared with the normal passanger cars.

I started by saying the regular new M3 will handle better than RS4. CSL is just a bonus. Also I was talking about the next CSL and not the one that exist today. (I mentioned CLS one time.). M3 E46 is from year 2001, of course it will be beaten sooner or later. RS4 is a more hardcore version than S4, so is M3 and M3 CSL.

Njaa, I don't really think that one can put it like that. The RS4 is ineed very raw and capable but it can't be compared with the M3 CSL which is a pure track car which is built in the purpose of going fast around tracks. On the other hand the RS4 can be taken on a track but isn't as uncomprommised as the M3 CSL which doesn't even have radio as a standard option. The RS4 is meant to be fast but still be albe to transport 4 adults and be used as an everyday car.
In order words the cars are too different to be compared and the only cars which can fairly be compared with the RS4 is the C55 and up and coming 4-door E90 M3.

M3 CSL can get Ac and radio without extra cost. Im only comparing the strongest and most expensive versions with each others. And you know there are people using M3 CSL as a everyday car. Too me its always S4 vs C55 vs M3. When 335ti arrive I might consider it as a competitor to S4 and M3 to Rs4. Let's see about that.

I never saw the new CSL at all, let alone hearing about it as an everyday car, but i guess thats possible, if i got one with AC and radio, it would be my everyday car too.

Yeah it is a swedish expression but I can't translate it into english . I know that the CSL can be equiped with AC and radio but not sat/nav, climate control and disc changer like the RS4 and it doesn't either come with comfortable lather seats but that is not a problem at all since the car isn't built with the same purpose as the RS4. The car do cost nearly the same but price isn't everything and we more or less have to wait for BMW to bring the RS4 some straight in the face competition.

The new M3 may be better than RS4 but new RS6 will kill the M5 so we will be even again.

Exactly. The point is, BMW are not that special these days. Audi are here, and with the MB also here, we have a great german trio.
