In the dry the forthcoming M3 should handle better than the quattro equipped RS4 - but only just. The Audi still has the disadvantage of having that whole V8 stuck out ahead of the front wheels. For ultimate turn-in and mid corner balance it's just not ideal.
But, in Europe where there's a lot of precipitation the RS4 will murder the M3 in damp conditions. So, you win some, you lose some.
In Sweden where Just_me lives, RS4 owners will be trawling frigid streets looking in vain for M3's to take on. To no avail of course because they'll all be parked away for the winter. | | | | | Me for President

M owners drive there cars during winter but of course they cant drive 200km/h during winter. You have to use common sense, only fools drive 200km/h during winter here. You have to adjust your speed depending on the road roadconditions.
